Journal - Who is the oldest family member of your family you have ever met? What do you know about your family history? Have your parents ever told you anything thing about your family history?  Do you know what kind of heritage you have? Explain as much as you can about your family and any history you have knowledge of.

The oldest family member in my family that I have met is my great grandma. I do not know very much about my family history. I know that my grandpa fought in Vietnam. My parents have never told me about my family history, but I have never asked about it. I think that I am German but I'm not 100% positive.

Journal - Which web design platform did you choose - Wix or Weebly? What are three things you've learned about Web Design so far? 

I used Wix for my website. I have learned that with these platforms it makes it very easy for someone to make a website. It doesn't take as much time as I thought it was going to. With these platforms you don't have to use coding which helps a lot. That is what I learned about Web Design so far.

Journal - What have you learned about making a website? Explain.

I have learned that it is a hard and long process. It is hard because there are some complicated things that have to be done. It is long because there are a lot of things that have to be done before it is complete. You have to go look at other websites. You have to take pictures and put them onto your website. You have to make sure it looks really good. Those are some of the things that I have learned about making a website.

Journal - What do you know about building and creating a website? Have you ever done it before?  List qualities of a well designed and well functioning website.

I know that sometimes you have to pay to make one and sometimes it is free. I have never made a website before. I tried to make one a couple years ago but it was too complicated for me. A well designed website will have pictures where they are needed and then describe the picture. A well functioning website will have multiple pages to it and have links to different things than just the home page.

Journal - Tell me about two things you've learned while creating you stop-motion animation video. Go in to detail about those two items.

One thing that I learned while creating my stop-motion animation video is that you have to take a lot of pictures just to get a few seconds of a video. Another thing that I learned is that it takes some time to get all the pictures. I had to take a lot of pictures it felt like over 100 and it only made a few second video. So it takes more than 10 pictures to make a video. It didn't take 5 minutes to take these pictures either. It took a couple hours to take all the pictures.

Journal - What step are you currently on in your stop-motion animation video? Tomorrow you need to have all your pictures on your computer when the bell rings. Will you be ready? If not, why? What do you plan on getting done in class today. Make a 'To-Do' List on your blog.

I am finishing up with my pictures today. I will have all of my pictures on my computer by tomorrow. I will most likely be ready. If I do not get it done it is because I didn't have enough time to finish taking the pictures. I plan on taking the rest of my pictures and uploading them onto my computer.
